Every time he was on t.v. she would yell out his name! She would run up to the t.v. and try to touch him, say she wants to get on the t.v. and dance with him & even said that HE would be sad if HE didn't get to meet HER! I think she's right!
By the way, although we are excited to see Barack Obama & his family in the white house (I'll hear from some of you on that one - you know who you are) Dustin and I lean conservative/independent politically so Mia's fascination was her own creation!
I got to see Slumdog Millionaire on New Year's Day! It is rare for Dustin and I to go see a movie these days, but I had to make this one happen! Well, the Golden Globes got it right - it was GREAT! It's definitely rough and probably more realistic than I want to believe, but it's one of my favorites already. If you get a chance to venture out, I would highly recommend this movie. You can find the movie trailer on one of my recent posts.
Okay, I didn't mean to scare anyone about the trampoline thing. I should have said that nobody got hurt! We set up the trampoline on Christmas Day and the next day, we looked out our window & it was gone. It ended up in a field across the street. It has been appropriately coined by our neighbors as the "flying saucer". It lasted (in it's original state) for 24 hours before our Oklahoma wind had it's way with our trampoline. Thus, the birth & death of our Christmas trampoline. Now, before you shed many a tear, you'll be happy to know that the trampoline was resurrected to it's full glory just a few days ago. Parts replaced, frame welded to perfection and new netting...it's back in business!
